9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. There will be a 10-13 party for NYPD Officer Malerie Treuman on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at Sanders Studios in Brooklyn.
An admission fee of $40.00 will entitle you to a free drink, food, music with a live DJ. There will be a cash bar.

On June 24, 2014, Police Officer Malerie Treuman was driving home from work at the 81st Precinct when she was the victim of a hit and run collision. She sustained massive internal bleeding, a ruptured bladder, shattered pelvis and hips, broken vertebrae and severe nerve damage. It was assumed that she would die. Seven surgeries and more than a year later, PO Treuman is still struggling, unable to move one foot due to permanent nerve damage.
PO Treuman has more than $500,000 in bills to pay. The NYPD can do little, as she was not injured in the line of duty.
