Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Bone marrow drive for DC Steven Bonano, NYPD (ret.)

FreeRetired NYPD cop and 9/11 recovery worker Deputy Chief Steven Bonano needs a bone marrow transplant to fight his site-related cancer.
There will be a bone-marrow registry drive for him in downtown Brooklyn on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 and Wednesday, May 8, 2013 from 8:00am to 6:00pm.
Bonano served as commander of the elite NYPD Emergency Service Unit, responded to the terrorist attacks and worked during the recovery effort.
The bone-marrow registration drive will be held at 345 Jay Street in Brooklyn.
