9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Panel discussion – Egypt in Transition

On Monday, April 15, 2013 at 7:00pm,  Lawrence Wright, Robin Wright, Samer Shehata, and Mohamed Elmenshawy will discuss Egypt’s post-Mubarak transition. This event is co-sponsored by the Center on National Security at Fordham Law School and the Middle East Institute.

Lawrence Wright is the author of The Looming Tower: Al-Qaeda and the Road to 9/11. Robin Wright is a reporter. Samer S. Shehata is an assistant professor of Arab Politics at the Center for Contemporary Arab Studies at Georgetown University. Mohamed Elmenshawy is the director of the languages and regional studies program at the Middle East Institute in Washington, DC. He writes a weekly column for Egyptian daily Al Shorouk News.
