9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Join the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society on Sunday April 21, 2013 for a fun, Hawaiian themed run with obstacles. After the race, there’s a luau with a beer garden and entertainment!
This year’s event takes place at the NYIT de Serversky Mansion in Old Wesbury. Bring your flip flops, beach chairs, and beach towels to enjoy the festivities.
Anyone 8 years of age or older can participate. You can register individually, or in teams of two or more — co-ed or single gender. To register, please click here. There is no race day registration and space is limited, so register soon. The fee to run is $75.00 with a fundraising minimum of $200.00. To watch and join in the luau without running, click here. The spectator/luau fee is $30.00.
