Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Annual Blood Drive to Honor PAPD Officer Thomas Gorman

Somerset Medical Center is holding its annual December blood drive in honor of Port Authority Police Officer Thomas Gorman, who gave blood for the final time on September 10, 2001, one day before he was killed during the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center.
December 27, 2012 will be Thomas Gorman’s 53rd birthday.
Donors are being invited to give blood in Gorman’s honour in December on Mondays and Tuesdays from 8:00am to 5:00pm, on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:00am to 7:30pm and on Fridays from 8:00am to 4:30pm.
