Ribbons of Hope
October 13, 2012 - October 14, 2012
The Ribbons of Hope will be installed in Jersey City for the weekend of October 13-14. The exhibit will be open toindividuals and families from noon to 6:00pm both days. Ribbons and pens will be available for you to write a message and participation is free.
In the Ribbons of Hope project, participants are invited to write a message of hope or gratitude on a ribbon and attach it to a large frame.
The project began on the tenth anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks with the initial ribbons bearing messages to families of those murdered and to survivors and recovery workers.
Since then, the ribbon frames, now covered with approximately 25,000 ribbons, have traveled to many places, adding more messages on every stage of the journey.
