A Night at the FDNY Museum – Photography exhibit, community event & fundraiser
November 3, 2022 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
On Thursday, November 3, 2022, from 6:00pm until 9:00pm, the FDNY Fire Museum will hold a special event to showcasing their new special exhibition Firehouse: The Photography of Jill Freedman. The evening will include a private viewing of the exhibition, light fare, an open beer and wine bar, raffle prizes, a silent auction, and more.
The exhibit consists of photographs taken in the 1970s from a year-long project depicting FDNY firefighters from the Bronx and Harlem – some of the busiest firehouses in the city – during one of the most tumultuous times in the FDNY.
Tickets for the evening cost $100.00 (plus an online processing fee) and are available here. Some sponsorships are still available. To sponsor the event, or to learn more, please click here.
The exhibit will be on display at the FDNY Museum from October 12, 2022 until April 2, 2023.
