9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Funeral for September 11th family member Kathryn (Kay) Frey Canty

Kathryn (Kay) Frey Canty died suddenly on January 2, 2022.
She was married to her beloved Ed for 60 years. They raised nine children, one of whom, Michael, was killed in the 9/11 terrorist attacks. She was also predeceased by Ed, her son Jim, and 8 siblings. She worked as a teacher for many years.
Due to COVID, the family has decided that funeral services will be for the immediate family only. The funeral will be live streamed at 12:00pm on Saturday, January 8, 2022, or available for viewing at any time after that. To view the funeral, please click here.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kay’s name to the Michael Canty Memorial Fund, 20 Church Ave., Ballston Spa NY, 12020.
