9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Candlelight Vigil – Carmel, NY
September 11, 2021 @ 7:00 pm - 7:30 pm
A 9/11 candlelight vigil will begin at 7:00pm at the Putnam Heroes Memorial in Spain Cornerstone Park in Carmel.
In honor of the 94 Putnam County residents lost that day, 94 white carnations will be placed around the World Trade Center Survivor Tree.
All in attendance must wear masks.
Fair Street will be closed from Vink Drive to Route 52 beginning at 6:15pm.
