Terrorism Past & Future: Perspective from the Federal Courts

The Fordham Center for National Security will hold a panel discussion on Terrorism Past and Future: A Perspective from the Federal Courts on Thursday, September 27, 2012, at 7:00pm.
Panelists will be The Honorable Vincent Briccetti, United States District Judge for the Southern District of New York; Justine Harris, Partner at Colson & Harris LLP, former Assistant Federal Defender; Marshall Miller, AUSA for the Eastern District of New York, Adjunct Faculty at Fordham Law School; John Miller, Senior Correspondent for CBS News; and David Raskin, Partner at Clifford Chance, former AUSA for the Southern District of New York, where he served as Chief of the Terrorism and National Security Unit.
The moderator is Karen Greenberg, Director of the Center on National Security.

- What lessons have federal practitioners learned about prosecuting terror crimes?
- Have federal prosecutors of terror suspects refined the notion of a terror crime?
- What is the future of terror investigations and terror charging in the U.S.?
