Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. On Friday, October 12, 2012 from 11:00am to 4:00pm, there will be a symposium on pancreatic cancer at the New York Academy of Sciences.
Breakthroughs in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma have led to novel therapies. This symposium covers the latest research developments in pancreatic cancer, with a focus on preclinical and early clinical investigations of rationally targeted drugs.
