Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Alicia Titus Memorial Peace Fund’s Peace Literacy Program – Urbana, OH

As part of their sixth annual Season for Nonviolence at Urbana University, the Alicia Titus Memorial Peace Fund will host a three-day Peace Literacy Program at Urbana University in Urbana, Ohio from Thursday, April 2, 2020 until Saturday, April 4, 2020.
Paul Chappell, West Point graduate, Iraq War veteran, and a director with the Nuclear Age Peace Foundation, will again speak at the event. The focus of this year’s program will be Peace Literacy from the Classroom to the Courthouse. Students, community members, educators,and first responders are welcome.

The Alicia Titus Memorial Peace Fund was founded to honor the memory of Alicia Titus, who was killed by terrorists during the attacks of 9/11 while serving as a flight attendant aboard United Airlines Flight 175, the plane that crashed into the South Tower of the World Trade Center.
The Alicia Titus Memorial Peace Fund carries on the spirit of Alicia’s life by sponsoring programs for the University and community that promote and support peace.
