9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. The third annual Comedy for a Cause evening to benefit Stephy’s Place will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2020. Please save the date.
Stephy’s Place is a grief-support center founded by members of a September 11th support group to recreate their loving, supportive environment for other grieving people. Stephy’s Place has free loss-specific peer-support groups – there are groups for loss of a spouse, child, parent, sibling, as well as for addiction, suicide and divorce. Everyone affiliated with Stephy’s Place has experienced loss and has the compassionate desire to help others on their grief journey.
