9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. On Friday, October 12, 2012, from 3:00pm-5:00pm, John Jay Center for Terrorism will host a lecture with Sohail Hashmi, Professor of International Relations at Mount Holyoke. Hashmi’s work straddles Western and Islamic moral and political philosophy. Hashmi will discuss the topic The Koranic Basis of Jihad & War.
