9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. On October 5, 2012, from 2:00pm-4:00pm, John Jay’s Center on Terrorism will present a seminar on Police Legitimacy and its Threats: International Terrorism, Illegal Immigration and Cyber Crime with Ian Warwick Blair, Baron Blair of Boughton, QPM, a retired British policeman who held the position of Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis from 2005 to 2008 and was the highest-ranking officer within the Metropolitan Police Service.
