9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Heartworks was created by the family of John William Farrell in gratitude for the kindnesses shown to them after John was killed in the 9/11 terrorist attack. John, 41, worked for Sandler O’Neill in Tower 2 of the World Trade Center.
