9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Celebration of Service – D.C. Meal Pack Challenge

In honor of those killed in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, as part of the National Day of Service and Remembrance, the AARP Foundation will host a Celebration of Service Meal Pack Challenge on Washington D.C.’s National Mall.
On Wednesday, September 11, 2019, from 9:00am until 4:00pm, volunteers will pack 1 million meals for hungry seniors in Washington D.C.
Volunteers can sign up for one 90-minute packing session, or stay for the whole day.
Taking public transportation is strongly recommended, as on-street parking is extremely limited.
