9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Arlington Police, Fire & Sheriff 9/11 Memorial 5-K – Arlington, VA
September 7, 2019 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
The eighteenth annual Arlington Police, Fire & Sheriff 9/11 Memorial 5-K will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2019 starting at 6:00pm at the DoubleTree Hotel Crystal City.
The race will be held no matter the weather. There are no refunds.
Please register early. The race is limited to 3,000 participants and will sell out.
The $40.00 entry fee applies from June 5, 2019 until online registration closes on September 4, 2019 at 10:00am. From that time until race day, the fee is $45.00 if available.
All proceeds will be donated to official charities that focus on the healing of military personnel and civilians directly affected by the war on terrorism and the attacks against America on September 11, 2001. This year’s beneficiaries are
- HEROES, which is “dedicated to aid families of law enforcement officers and firefighters who have died in the line of duty in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.”
- The Pentagon Memorial Fund, which is working to build a new visitor center.
