9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. “Come from Away” second anniversary celebration

To celebrate Come from Away’s second year on Broadway, its creators Irene Sankoff and David Hein and current Come from Away cast members Happy McPartlin, Jim Walton, and Julie Reiber will take part in a discussion with Playbill’s Ruthie Fierberg at 7:30pm on Sunday, March 3, 2019 at the 92nd Street Y.
The evening will include a performance of some songs from the show.
The show tells the stories of 37 planes filled with stranded travelers who land in a small town in Newfoundland during the terrorist attacks of September 11.
Come from Away went into previews on Broadway on February 18, 2017 at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre.
