9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. A 10-13 fundraiser will be held on Wednesday, February 20, 2019, from 7:00pm to 11:00pm at the Nutty Irishman in Farmingdale to benefit NYPD Detective Nicholas Turco of the Narcotics Bureau Queens South. There will be an open bar and buffet.
Detective Turco has been diagnosed with lymphoma. He is unable to work while undergoing treatment. He is married with two children.
