9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Amy King 5-K Run/Walk – Lakewood, NY

The annual Amy King 5-K Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 11:00am at the Celoron Moose Club in Lakewood, NY. Day-of-race registration will be held from 9:00am until 10:30am.
The Amy King of the Hill Race, for children aged 3-10, will begin at 11:30am. (Distances for the children’s race will be determined by age.) Please come in costume if you would like to! Prizes will be awarded for the best costume.
The adults’ 5-K run and walk both start at 11:00am. To register, please click here.
The fee for an adult to participate is $30.00 if paid in advance; $35.00 on race day. The Amy King of the Hill Race is free. Registration forms must be received by Friday, November 24, 2018 to be guaranteed an Amy King limited edition sweatshirt. Proceeds raised will benefit the Amy King Kids’ YMCA Summer Camp and Southwestern Central School Scholarships.
Amy King was a flight attendant on United Flight 175. She was 29 years old on September 11, 2001 when terrorists hijacked her flight. Her long-time boyfriend, Michael Tarrou, 38, also a flight attendant, was killed with her aboard Flight 175.
