9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Unveiling of the Stewart Manor 9/11 Memorial – Stewart Manor, NY

A new September 11th memorial will be unveiled on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at 6:30pm in Stewart Manor, NY. Its centerpiece is a piece of steel from the World Trade Center mounted on a brick and granite base.
The memorial is an Eagle Scout project of Steven Giammona, who was born a month after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2018 which claimed his uncle, FDNY Captain Vincent Giammona.
The new memorial can be found on the corner of Covert and Chester Avenues in Stewart Manor.
