9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Voices of September 11th Resiliency Symposium – NY, NY

Join Voices of September 11th at the Marriott Downtown Hotel in Lower Manhattan on Sunday, September 9, 2018 for their annual day of presentations from leading researchers and clinicians working in the field of trauma. This year’s title is Knowledge to Practice: Pathways to Long-Term Healing, A Victim-Centered Approach
Registration will open at 8:00am with the talks to follow from 9:00am until 4:00pm.
The day-long symposium is intended for mental health professionals, victims’ services workers, emergency managers, law enforcement, and community stakeholders. Victims’ families, survivors, and rescue and recovery workers are invited to attend free of charge.
This year’s topics will include: The Multigenerational Impact of Trauma on Survivors and Responders; Research to Practice: Treatment of PTSD and Anxiety; Supporting Victims of Mass Tragedy: National and International Perspectives; Giving Voice to Victims’ Families and Survivors; and Cultivating a Resilient Community: A Pathway to Thrive.
