9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Captain Martin Egan 5-K Memorial Run/Walk

The twelfth annual Captain Martin Egan 5-K Memorial Run/Walk will be held at 10:00am on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at Midland Beach Picnic Area, in Staten Island.
Race-day registration will be held from 8:00am to 9:00am. To register in advance, please click here and use the drop-down menu. If you register in advance for the run, the fee is $20.00 for an adult, $15.00 for ages 14 and under. The race-day fee is $25.00 for adults and $20.00 for ages 14 and under.
Refreshments will be available after the run.
Bib pick-up day is Thursday, May 31, 2018 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at the Grant City Tavern. Bibs may also be picked up on the day of the Run from 8:00am to 9:00am.
All proceeds will benefit the Captain Martin Egan, Jr. Memorial Fund which funds a scholarship in Marty’s name.

Captain Martin J. Egan, Jr. grew up in Midland Beach. He was a 36-year-old husband and father of two when he was killed with his comrades from the FDNY during the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center.
