9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Todd Ouida Children’s Foundation Conference – Montclair, NJ

The 7th annual Todd Ouida Children’s Foundation Conference at Montclair State University will be held on Thursday, May 10, 2018 from 8:30am until 4:00pm at the University Hall Conference Center.
This year’s topic will be Mindfulness in Infants, Children and Those Who Care for Them: What the Stress-filled World Needs Now.
Featured speakers will be Dr. Rebecca Shahmoon-Shanok, Dr. Kate Rosenblum, and Doreen Oliver, who will give a performance of Everything Is Fine, until It’s Not. Of course, a mindfulness activity will be led by Dr. Gerry Costa.
Ticket prices range from $20.00 to $50.00. Tickets are available here.
Registration begins at 8:30am, and the program will start promptly at 9:00am. Breakfast and lunch will be served. Parking fees are included. A flash drive will be provided containing information from the presenters and co-sponsors.

As a boy, Todd Ouida suffered from panic attacks and anxiety. He was able to overcome this and at 25 was a University of Michigan graduate working at Cantor Fitzgerald atop Tower 1 of the World Trade Center. He was killed by terrorists in the attacks of September 11, 2001. His family started the foundation in his name to help other children like Todd achieve great things.
