9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Staten Island University Hospital’s outreach team will hold a head and neck cancer screening on Tuesday, November 14, 2017, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.
Site workers and those exposed from toxins from the World Trade Center debris after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 are particularly vulnerable to head and neck cancers.
