9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Suicide Prevention Walk – Wantagh, NY

On Sunday, October 22, 2017 at 10:00am at Jones Beach Field #5 there will be a Suicide Prevention Walk.
Suicide affects 1 in 5 American families, and is a problem in the 9/11 community. Funds raised at the walk will benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
Check-in begins at 8:30am.The opening ceremony will be held at 9:45am, with the walk at 10:00am.
The 5-K walk will be non-competitive.
Fundraisers who raise more than $150.00 will receive a t-shirt.
