9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Heartworks is a charity created by the family of John William Farrell in gratitude for the kindnesses shown to them after the terrorist attacks of 9/11. John William Farrell, 41, worked for Sandler O’Neill in Tower 2 of the World Trade Center and was killed in the attack.
