9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Stephen Gordon Ward Memorial 5-K Run Walk and Kids’ Fun Run – Gorham, ME

The Stephen Gordon Ward Memorial Scholarship Fund will present their 9/11 Memorial 5-K Run Walk and Kids’ Fun Run on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at Gorham Recreation Department Ball Park in Gorham, Maine. The Kids’ Fun Run will begin at 8:30am, with the 5-K starting at 9:15am. Awards will be given at 10:15am.
It costs $25.00 to participate. The Fun Run costs $5.00 per child. Proceeds benefit the Stephen Gordon Ward Memorial Scholarship Fund. To register for the event, please click here. Please register by Thursday, September 7, 2017 at 4:00pm. T-shirts are free for the first 100 registrants.
Stephen Gordon Ward was 33 and climbing the career ladder at Cantor Fitzgerald when he was killed in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend to many.
There will be discount registrations for students (students do not receive a t-shirt) and for families registering at least three members from the same household.
