9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Healing Trauma Part II – Long Beach, NY

On Thursday, September 7, 2017, from 7:00pm to 8:30pm, the Long Beach Public Library will host the second part of a special seminar on trauma and how it affects one’s body, mind and spirit, and how recovery from traumatic events is possible.
The presentation will led by Patricia Smucker, a licensed clinical social worker who specializes in trauma. Her subject will be Life after Trauma- Learning how to Heal, Honor, Love, Connect, and Celebrate all that You Are!” This seminar will also include talks on healing relationships and healing as a family.
