9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Kevin J. Hannaford, Sr. Swim Challenge

The 12th annual Kevin J. Hannaford, Sr. Swim Challenge will be held on Sunday, July 16, 2017 from 9:00am to 2:00pm. Participating swimmers combine their times to “swim the distance” between Bernardsville and the World Trade Center, roughly 80 miles. Swimmers of all ages and abilities are welcome.
The fee to participate is $40.00 per person. Pre-registration is preferred but not required.
Proceeds benefit the Kevin J. Hannaford, Sr. Foundation, which helps children who have lost a parent pursue educational opportunities.
The Kevin J. Hannaford, Sr. Foundation honors the late Kevin J. Hannaford, a devoted father and an avid swimmer at the Somerset Hills YMCA. Mr. Hannaford was killed in the terrorist attacks at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.
