Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. The Jérôme Lohez 9/11 Scholarship Foundation’s 12th annual concert and scholarship awards reception will be held on Wednesday, May 10, 2017, from 6:30pm until 8:30pm at the Consulate General of France.
This year’s honorees are Dr. Joël Courtois, Dr. Gregory P. Prastacos and Ms. Diana Wege. This event is under the Patronage of the Consul General of France in New York, Ms. Anne-Claire Legendre.
Entertainment will be provided by Rosalinda Hassall (voice) and Ouajdi Chérif (piano), who will perform French chanson and there will also be French classical music from Soliman El-Cheikh on the piano.

The only French national killed in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, Jérôme Lohez was a scholar and a lover of travel. The foundation in his honor gives scholarships and international educational opportunities to outstanding US, French, and Chinese students.
