Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. The Center on National Security will host a discussion of the new book, Terror in France: The Rise of Jihad in the West by Gilles Kepel on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 from 1:00pm until 2:00pm at Fordham Law School.
Kepel is a professor of political science at the École Normale Supérieures in Paris and the author of Beyond Terror and Martyrdom: The Future of the Middle East, The War for Muslim Minds: Islam and the West, and Jihad: The Trail of Political Islam.
