9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Matt’s Race 5-K (Lt. Gordon “Matt” Ambelas Memorial 5-K Run)

The annual Lt. Gordon “Matt” Ambelas Memorial 5-K Run will be held on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at 10:00am in Staten Island’s Clove Lakes Park.
The registration fee is $20.00 for adults ($25.00 on the day), and $15.00 for children under 15 ($20.00 on race day). This year’s race is dedicated to Mike Moyle who died suddenly in September 2016. All proceeds of the race will be donated to the Moyle family.
The post-race party will include food, beverages and entertainment.
Lt. Gordon “Matt” Ambelas was killed in the line of duty in July, 2014. A 14-year veteran of the FDNY, he worked the recovery efforts after the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center. Aged 40, Lt. Ambelas left a wife and two daughters.
