9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Funeral for NYPD Detective Dennis J. Carroll, Sr. (ret.)

Retired NYPD Detective Dennis J. Carroll, Sr. has died at the age of 75. The retired homicide detective was also a Vietnam veteran.
The funeral for Detective Carroll will take place on Friday, April 7, 2017 at 9:30am at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Kings Park, NY.
