9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. P.O. Mark J. Ellis Memorial Walk

The eighth annual Mark J. Ellis Memorial Walk will take place on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Farmingdale State College.
Registration will take place beginning at 9:00am at the Campus Center. The walk begins from there at 10:00am, continues around the campus, ending at the Campus Center for a moment of silence and light refreshments.
This event honors NYPD Officer Mark Ellis, a 1997 graduate of Farmingdale State College who was killed by terrorists while responding to the attacks of September 11, 2001. Proceeds from the walk are used to fund a scholarship in Mark’s name to assist a student in the Criminal Justice program.
