9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. The annual Firefighter John G. Chipura Blood Drive will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2017 from 9:00am to 3:00pm at Our Lady Help of Christians Church in Staten Island.

Firefighter John G. “Chip” Chipura was an NYPD officer and a US Marine before he joined the FDNY. He survived the Beirut terrorist attack on Marine barracks, but was killed in the terrorist attack of September 11, 2001.
