Funeral for retired NYPD Detective Patrick J. Whalen

NYPD Detective Patrick J. Whalen (ret.), who was a recipient of the Combat Cross for Valor and the father and grandfather of several NYPD officers, has died.
His funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at 9:30am at Our Lady of Angels R. C. Church in Brooklyn.
Detective Whalen will be buried at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, NY.
