9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. The public is invited to the American Canyon September 11th Memorial Dedication Ceremony at 1:00pm, Sunday, September 11, 2016.
The town has marked the anniversary of the terrorist attacks since 2009, but this is the first year that they have their own memorial with a piece of steel from the World Trade Center.
