Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. On Thursday, September 8, 2016, Alison and Jeff Crowther, parents of Welles Remy Crowther, the “man in the red bandanna” who saved at least 5 people in the South Tower of the World Trade Center on 9/11, will speak with Tom Rinaldi, author of The Red Bandanna, a new book about Welles. The free event will be held at the Tribeca Barnes & Noble bookshop at 6:00pm.
