9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. “My 9/11 Story – a Conversation with Sal Cassano”

John Jay College’s Christian Regenhard Center for Emergency Response Studies will present My 9/11 Story – a Conversation with Sal Cassano on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at 4:00pm at the College’s New Building. The talk will be held in Room L.61 of the New Building and last an hour and a half.
Cassano will speak about his experience on and after the terrorist attacks of 2001.
John Jay alumnus Sal Cassano has held every rank in the FDNY from Firefighter to Chief of Department. He was instrumental in rebuilding the Fire Department of the City of NY after the terrorist attacks of 9/11 killed 343 of their members. He also served as Fire Commissioner.
