9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Stephen Gordon Ward Memorial 5-K Run/Walk

The second annual Stephen Gordon Ward 9/11 Memorial 5-K Run/Walk will take place on Sunday, September 9, 2012 at 9:00am at Robie Park in Gorham, Maine.
The race will begin and end at the Gorham Recreation Department next to Gorham High School, making a loop through Gorham. A kids’ fun run, raffles and refreshments will round out the race day events.On the Saturday before the race, there will be a silent auction.This year, a sister race will be held in Jalalabad, Afghanistan for service members who want to support the cause.

All proceeds from the race will benefit the Stephen Gordon Ward Memorial Scholarship fund. Stephen Ward worked for Cantor Fitzgerald atop Tower 1 of the World Trade Center. He was 33 when he was killed.
