9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Wake & funeral for Deputy Brad Garafola of the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office

The visitation for East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Deputy Brad Garafola will begin at noon on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at the Istrouma Baptist Church in Baton Rouge.
His funeral will be held the same day at the same place at 2:00pm. There will be no graveside service, but there will be a processional at 3:00pm from the church to Greenoaks Funeral Home. A horse and carriage will carry the deputy’s body during the procession.
Deputy Garafola was shot and killed Sunday during an ambush.
The Garafola family requests that any flowers be delivered to the church on Saturday as the facility will not be open prior to that day.
A multi-agency memorial service for the fallen officers and deputy is in the planning stages for later next week.
