9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. 12th Annual CT United Ride
September 9, 2012
The 12th Annual CT United Ride starts in Norwalk and goes through Fairfield County, ending in Bridgeport at the beach. The ride is 60 miles long and travels through 11 towns – no lights – no stops – with police motorcycle escort. The highlight is the final 5-mile motorcycle parade through Bridgeport.
Riders last year
Last year, approximately 2,300 bikes took part.$25.00 per driver or passenger. Funds raised will benefit CT firefighters, CT law enforcement, and two local United Ways. This year, the first 2,000 riders get free food.
