9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Talk by Jerry Dimitriou on new St. Nicholas National Shrine

A talk the Executive Director of the Archdiocese Jerry Dimitriou , will give a presentation on the new St. Nicholas National Shrine will be given at the 9/11 Tribute Center on Monday, December 7, 2015 at 6:30pm. The new shrine will be built south of the World Trade Center by the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese and will replace the beloved St. Nicholas Church that was destroyed by the terrorist attack of September 11, 2001.
The talk will focus on St. Nicholas’ importance to the Greek community, and the vision for a church that will welcome people of all beliefs. To learn more about St. Nicholas Church and the new shrine, please click here.
Architect Santiago Calatrava designed the new domed marble shrine.
