150th Anniversary Commemorative FDNY Helmet Raffle to Benefit the John G. Chipura Foundation
November 26, 2015 @ 5:00 pm - December 1, 2015 @ 5:00 pm
Tickets are on sale for a raffle – the prize is a leather commemorative helmet to mark the 150th anniversary of the FDNY.
Tickets are $5.00 apiece or 5 for $20.00. Funds raised benefit the FF John G. Chipura Foundation.
John Chipura was a Marine, an NYPD officer and a New York City fireman. He survived the 1983 bombing of the Marine barracks in Beirut, but not the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. He was responding with his FDNY company on that day.
The foundation in his name helps military, NYPD and FDNY families in need.
The drawing will be held on Wednesday, December 1, 2015.
Tickets are available by emailing johnchipurafoundation@gmail.com.
