It Ain’t No Hurricane Party — Resiliency Planning in Tribeca and Lower Manhattan
October 28, 2015 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm
Manhattan Youth’s Downtown Community Center was flooded with almost 20 feet of water during Hurricane Sandy, so their interest in establishing resiliency plans for another hurricane is obvious. They are hosting “It Ain’t No Hurricane Party Resiliency Planning in Tribeca and Lower Manhattan” at 7:30pm on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 so locals can learn about the current state of planning in Lower Manhattan, what is covered & what still needs to be done.
Attendees will include the Federal Emergency Management Agency; the Fund for the City of New York; the Dorm Authority of the State of New York and others.
Pizza and beer will be available for a small donation.
Tickets cost $5.00 at the door or you can buy tickets in advance by clicking here.
Manhattan Youth has the right to limit and/or deny attendance.
