World’s largest free-flying flag on George Washington Bridge to honor 9/11 victims

The Port Authority of NY & NJ, which lost 84 of its employees in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, will mark the 14th anniversary of the attacks by hanging the “world’s largest free-flying flag” from the George Washington Bridge from 7:00am to 3:00pm on Friday, September 11, 2015.
The flag measures 60 feet by 90 feet and weighs 450 pounds.
