Brooke Jackman Foundation Read-a-Thon
September 12, 2015 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm
NYC Fire Commissioner Daniel Nigro and members of the FDNY will join Fatima Ptacek (the voice of Dora the Explorer) on Saturday, September 12, 2015 from 12:00 noon to 1:30pm during the sixth annual Brooke Jackman Foundation Read-a-Thon at Barnes & Noble Tribeca.
The Read-a-thon is free and open to the public.
The Brooke Jackman Foundation honors Brooke, who loved children and books, by promoting literacy. Brooke Jackman, 23, was planning to leave Cantor Fitzgerald and go back to school to become a social worker to help children when terrorists killed her and 657 of her colleagues on September 11, 2001.
