Walk with Joe – Manalapan, NJ
September 12, 2015 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
The annual Walk with Joe will be held at Monmouth Battlefield State Park in Manalapan at 10:00am on Saturday, September 12, 2015.
Walk with Joe is named for Patrick “Joe” Driscoll, 70, who was aboard Flight 93 when it was attacked by terrorists on September 11, 2001. Over the years, the event came to honor two other Manalapan natives murdered in the attacks. Christopher S. Gray, 32, worked for Cantor Fitzgerald, where 658 were killed. FF Thomas J. McCann, 46, made the ultimate sacrifice that day, only four months from his scheduled retirement.
More than 10,000 participants have ‘walked with Joe’ over the last 13 years, raising nearly $325,000. More than 500 participants are expected to walk this year.
Funds raised benefit a variety of charities in the Manalapan area, as well as September 11th memorials.
Please click here to register online. The fee for adults and children over 7 to walk is $20.00. Children under 7 walk free.
